Building Economic Stability for Haitian American families in Tampa
Building Economic Stability for Haitian American families in Tampa
We are a community based nonprofit serving Haitian nationals and Haitian Americans in Tampa. Our work focuses on literacy, workforce readiness, and access to food and community resources.
We were created to respond to real barriers our community faces and to offer practical support that helps people move forward.
Many Haitian nationals and Haitian Americans face systemic barriers, including language and literacy challenges, limited access to job training, and difficulty navigating essential support systems. These barriers can restrict educational attainment, employment opportunities, and long-term economic stability.
Our organization exists to close these gaps by delivering culturally responsive programs that meet people where they are and help them move forward with dignity and confidence.
Literacy and education support helps individuals improve reading, writing, and learning skills, empowering them for personal growth and future opportunities.
Job training and job readiness programs build essential skills, confidence, and preparation needed to secure and maintain sustainable employment.
Food access through our soup kitchen provides nutritious meals to individuals and families in need, supporting health, dignity, and community well-being.
Through direct services and partnerships, we help community members strengthen literacy skills, prepare for employment, and access food and local resources. Our work focuses on real outcomes that improve day to day stability for individuals and families.
